I am a Paediatric Endocrinologist and a proud Penrith local, having grown up in the area. I am committed to caring for children and adolescents with endocrine disorders, working to help them achieve their goals.
I completed my medical degree at Western Sydney University before starting work as an Intern and Resident at Nepean Hospital. I then moved to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network for Paediatric Training. I undertook specialty training in Paediatric Endocrinology at both the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. I am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
I am committed to caring for children and adolescents with issues across the spectrum of Paediatric Endocrinology. This includes pituitary dysfunction, thyroid disease, adrenal issues, puberty-related concerns, parathyroid hormone issues, and both short and tall stature.
I believe that children and adolescents with Diabetes are best served in a public multidisciplinary team. As such, I am unable to accept referrals for diabetes and recommend you direct referrals to your local Paediatric Diabetes service (noting that this is available at Nepean Hospital for paediatric patients in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District).
I am currently also working as a Staff Specialist Paediatric Endocrinologist at Nepean Hospital.
